Radioactive Waste Guide
The green barrel on the Day 9 Steam shot is the size problem: it eats a 3 by 4 block of the counter. The walkthrough supplies the payment and disposal steps. The video is linked as further viewing; its metadata alone does not independently confirm a payment amount.
Where the barrels come from
A corporate waste manager visits once, from day 3 if you skip the tutorial and from day 11 otherwise, in the 1.0 notes. The offer is 100 credits a barrel, in lots of 1, 3, or 5, and only barrels that fit on the counter are paid. The fetched allthings.how walkthrough shows a day-16 Mark Up payment of 100 for one barrel. This audit did not retrieve video transcript evidence for that number, so 100 is a single-source sample, not a cross-checked tariff.
The item base is 0. It is not tagged contraband. It is 3×4, twelve squares. You cannot sell it, vend it, or expect the trash to destroy it. Insurance does not cover it.

Getting rid of one
At night, take the barrel to the dumping ground, drag it from the pack to the ground panel, hit return, and accept the warning that anything left on the ground is lost. The first time you do this, Georgio brings that barrel back the next day, once per run. A second drop is the one that stays gone.
Leaving it in the shop trash does not clear it. Janitorial will not haul it. Acidic solution has no checked use in the sources used here. Chemical contamination is a water stat, handled with tablets and the purifier, and it is not this barrel.

FAQ
Can I throw the barrel in the trash?
No. The notes say it sits in the can and is not removed by janitorial.
What is acidic solution for?
No reliable use is published. Do not treat an unknown acid as a recipe ingredient.
