Wine Making Guide

The fermenting card on the Steam shot is the part I trust first: 750 ml, one or two handfuls, yeast optional, and a clock. Buyer prices come from the 29 October wine notes and one trade guide. I do not merge them into a single “best price”.

What has two independent sources

The 200-credit Retired Winemaker unlock and 750 ml water recipe agree in allthings.how and Bonus Action. The Steam recipe screenshot separately shows 750 ml, one or two handfuls and optional yeast. The exact 2 / 1 / 4-night timing is from Bonus Action alone; the customer prices and berry checks are allthings.how observations.

Unlock and the only berry

Wild’s Network, then Referral, then Retired Winemaker costs 200 on Mark Up in the 1.0 notes. Favor is spent first, credits cover the rest. You get a starter kit: the guide, three bottles, three yeast, two Bloomberry.

Searches for “which grapes” do not match a variety list. The fruit in the guide is Bloomberry. Small is best, normal is fine, and underripe, overripe, or moldy fruit drops quality. Check with the magnifier. Base values in those notes: bottle 12, yeast 10, berry 14.

Recipe and who buys

The recipe is 750 ml of water, one or two handfuls of Bloomberry, and optional yeast. Use Basewater or High-Quality. Pure water is called out as a failure because it lacks minerals. Worse than Basewater drags quality down. Standard yeast takes two nights, Super Yeast one night, and no yeast four nights with an unstable result.

Worked sales in the 1.0 notes: a first homebrew estimated at 100, a production bottle estimated at 144 from a base of 100. An upper-level visitor paid 143 and 152 against a 323 budget. A miner wanted the bottle and could not afford it. Many medical, security, and spacer customers show Not interested.

A trade guide says value rises about 3 a night while it sits. That rate is one source.

Wine extract

UPDATE 049 says pouring wine into a liquid container creates Wine Extract and changes the liquid’s color. No official note and no 1.0 guide used here says what the extract is for. Leave it as a produced item with an unknown use.

Japanese search interest in ワイン sits next to a game that already ships a Japanese language option. Terms on this page stay in English so the item names match the UI.

FAQ

Who buys expensive wine?

Upper-level visitors in the worked examples. Miners and ordinary merchants either lowball or cannot pay. Many factions are simply not interested.

Should I use pure water?

No. The fermenting notes say pure water will not ferment because the minerals are gone.
