Demo vs Full Version

I stopped at features the announcements actually list. There is no official line-by-line stat diff between the September demo and 1.0, so I did not write one. If a price moved, the water and items pages cite the hotfix. This page only says what each build contained.

Side by side

The demo, app 4349200, is off the store. While it was up it had three scenarios, a hardcore mode, the Water Merchant kit, one new machine and item, the toolbox, bottle-printer upgrades, and a vacuum robot with an incinerator module. It had no buyout.

1.0, app 4348910, lists nine scenarios in the announcement. The start screen also shows Junker as work in progress. It adds four difficulties, the buyout and run stats, Workshop and the mod API, storylines for Lou, Eleanor, Lun, and Serpico, 21 achievements, vending machines, and eight languages.

Whether to buy

If the demo is why you are here, there is nothing left to install. The pricing note says a demo save can open in 1.0 and still recommends starting over so old bugs and skipped story stay behind. Build 49 is the 14 September demo patch, not this version. The 1.0 menu string in guide screenshots is VERSION 100-REV3.

FAQ

Will my demo save work?

The publisher says it can load, and they would rather you start a new game.

Did every number change?

Not documented as a full diff. Water prices that the 1.0.0.2 note changed are on the water page.
