Updates & Patch Notes
I put the menu string and the Steam hotfix number in different columns. Guides call the 1.0 menu VERSION 100-REV3. Steam’s posts say 1.0.0.1 and 1.0.0.2. Nobody official has said those strings are the same build, so I do not merge them.

1.0 went on sale. The same day, hotfix 1.0.0.1 stopped a Lou report from dropping Black Market reputation and fixed a list of UI and confiscation bugs, including the smuggler bay hiding behind the trash or a poster, raw difficulty strings in Russian, and an empty pause screen on Escape.
Hotfix 1.0.0.2 rewrote the water purifier, cut Moisture Farm from 650 to 350 and Water Filter from 50 to 25, cut Dr. Jackson’s normal markup from 25% to 15%, and stopped Lou from being shot. The sales note reported 200,000 copies, more than 86,000 concurrent players, and 95% positive from over 400 reviews at that moment. It did not give an exact 86,099 peak.
The weeks before
26 October: unlock times and regional prices, and the note that the demo would retire. 21 October: the 1.0 overview, nine scenarios, four difficulties, the buyout, Workshop, and 21 achievements. 19 October: a demo Aquafarmer update with tilapia, eels, sturgeon, caviar, and tank quality. 14 September: UPDATE 049, the patch people call build 49. It added the toolbox, bottle-printer upgrades, wine extract, and the container pricing rule. It is not the 1.0 version number.
The 1.0 overview also named later free additions, including a junker, an organ trader, a street-food vendor, and expeditions. No dates were attached. This page will not invent them.
