1.0.0.2 · shooting her is closed · checked 2026-10-29
Lou
The portrait on the wanted board is the only official picture I would use for her. The route after the business permit is one guide’s playthrough, so I marked it as a documented path, not the only conversation tree.
The bounty
Lou is the highest figure on the Steam wanted board, 1,500. She does not walk in with a Lou label. The customer notes say her plot starts after you buy the business permit. Day 19 raw meat is The Butcher, not Lou.
Hotfix 1.0.0.2 stops players from shooting her. The guide separately shows a 100-REV3 menu string; no official source maps that string to the hotfix number. The 1,500 is collected with Call Security. Hotfix 1.0.0.1 is a different change: reporting her no longer drops Black Market reputation. Do not mix the two patches.

The crate and the debt
The documented path asks for weapons or tools, leaves a crate to collect later, brings a disguised visit, and then demands 1,500 credits in cash or in guns. Two Bombed endings in the endings notes are tied to her: moving the crate (Lou’s toys) or owing the 1,500 (Lou’s debt). The crate is described as an armed plastic explosive that goes off at midnight and should be disarmed.
Reporting pays 1,500, or 2,250 with Model Citizen, or 1,125 with Convict, in those notes. The exact day numbers are one source.

FAQ
Can I shoot Lou for the bounty?
Not after 1.0.0.2 on 28 October 2026. Use Call Security.
What if I open the crate?
The endings notes call that Lou’s toys, a Bombed failure.
